Welcome to the homepage of the 2D10 Roleplaying Game.
2D10 comes as a one page basic set of rules, quick to learn, easy to play, and good enough for all sorts of genres, settings, and stories. In addition, supplements are provided to give you ideas on how to expand and master the game. Best of all, it's free.
At its core, the game uses 2 ten-sided dice to help resolve actions. Characters are made up of a few attributes, an occupation (what the hero knows how to do), feats (think magical or extraordinary gifts or abilities), special items, and a hook (something that compels the hero into adventure). The whole system is lean and mean and incredibly flexible.
Why are the documents limited to one page?
Yes, it's kind of an arbitrary thing, but I love small compact and flexible roleplaying games. The one page forces me to write carefully and succinctly. In the future, I may put together a larger document to share.
Can I share these documents?
Yes, but keep in mind that they will be modified, edited, and updated. Always come back to this site to find the latest edition. In the future, they will be distributed on DriveThruRPG.
Can I write and publish games or supplements based off of these rules?
Perhaps. Once I get to a state where I feel the rules are solid enough, I will likely release the core set with a Creative Commons license.
